York’s St Nicholas Fair returns in 2026 with wooden chalets lining the central shopping streets, focusing on festive gifts, food and traditional decorations. The market stretches through the historic city centre, making use of key streets and squares to create a classic Christmas-market experience in a heritage setting.


Open 12th November – 21st December, 10.30am – 7pm.

Closed Tuesdays for a rest day.
